UN/MUN Blog-4.6.09

The eight UN goals are:
1.) Eraditcate Extreme Hunger and Poverty. (Stop extreme hunger and poorness>)
2.)Achieve Universal Primary Education. (Make sure that children all over the world get complete schooling.)
3.) Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women. (Make sure that women and men are equal.)
4.) Reduce Child Mortality. (Ensure death rates among child gets smaller.)
5.) Improve Maternal Health. (Reduce maternal death rates.)
6.) Combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other diseases. (Reverse the spread of major deseases.)
7.) Ensure Environmental Sustainability. (Improve the environment.)
8.) Develop a Global Partnership for Development. (Countries sharing what others' need.)

The goal I would like to on is __goal 4.(Reduce Child Mortality)__, because it is really sad when people die; these children are dying whom haven't even had a chance to live...
